wow.. umm its been too damn long

wow.. my friend molly said i havent posted on my blogs in awhile.. i just didnt know it was THAT long
but umm wow.. so where do I beguin? Well in recent news, my best friend Dave had a baby yesterday! She's beautiful and I wish I could hold her.. looks just like him ;) I'm really stoked about it. I told him that he can watch out for my boys.. well look forward to it when she gets older hehe
My best friend Tina is pregnant now.. it's great.. she's due in Decemeber.. possibly just in time for Sarah's bday...I'm actually really happy for her too of course.. she will be married shortly after the babyis born, which again is realy a good thing.. personally I think the big wedding thing has got to be overrareted.... which brings me to my next topic...
ANDRE AND I GOT MARRIED! we got married last monday July 11th...
its amazing how quick it is to get married these days.. it took like 5 mins.. hell it took longer to fill out the paperwork and wait to be called at the courthouse then to actually do it.. I'll admit I was very scared at first.. but things are actually more comfortable before.. we had a really rough time for awhile there.. things were going on.. it was a long story.. point is, we are very happy now, and now we are married.. so my parents are happier as well needless to say.
Dad doesn't refer to him really as Andre anymore.. but now calls him "my husband" ... he's been calling me and asking me how to spell "my last name now"... now this is kind of a funny story...
I technically don't have to change my last name... so as of right now, its still my maiden name.. I just go to the dmv and present my marriage liscence and can get it changed then.. well anyways, me and Andre were talking about it, and me being as non traditional/off kilter as I am at times, said we should flip a coin, so he could be Mr "G" or there was also talk of us just trading last names.. Yes I know you think I'm weird, and he wouldn't go for it of course, so I guess I can live with being Mrs P, even if he isn't Mr. G... I thought it was funny at least =p
We are going to try and go out for my sister's wedding, that's a month from now.
Ok I think the boys are calling me =) time to get some cookies
